Staff took part in the St Helena Hospice Pier to Pier Walk on Sunday 17th May. This 7‑mile scenic walk between Clacton Pier and Walton Pier has been running since 2011 and is a much‑loved local event.

This year, the walk means even more to us. One of our LSA’s had been cared for by St Helena Hospice over the past month, and staff wanted to come together to support a charity that has supported someone close to our school community.

St Helena Hospice, based in Colchester, helps people in North East Essex facing incurable illness and bereavement, offering care to patients, families, friends and carers.

We’re proud of our team for stepping up and walking for such an important cause.
